It’s a nice place to visit though you are not allowed to enter. Behind the mosque there is a nice park where you can sit and admire the tower. It is also worth visiting during night time when the lights are on.

Beautiful, iconic monument that absolutely lives up to the hype. The terracotta-colored minaret stands majestically with intricate carved detailing visible up close—the windows and geometric patterns are 10/10. The surrounding plaza is spacious and well-maintained, perfect for photos from every angle. There's an excellent informational plaque explaining the history and architecture. The light and sky were stunning during our visit.We did not visit inside, but the outside is really worth it. Highly recommend!

The Koutoubia Minaret is one of Marrakech’s most iconic landmarks and truly breathtaking up close. The architecture is stunning, especially at sunset when the tower glows above the city. The surrounding gardens are peaceful and perfect for a stroll. Even if you’re exploring the busy Medina, this spot feels calm and historic. A must-see for anyone visiting Marrakech!
