  Location is great, it's in the Kasbah area so it's away from the hustle bustle. It's about 20 minutes stroll from the El Jemaa Fna. There are restaurants, shops, market place near the riad. Yassin, the in-house manager was very helpful, warm and kind. We had dinner on the 1st night upon arrival. Miriam the cook cooked up the most delicious chicken tajine with lemon confits. We appreciated the gesture of a discount on the meal upon arrival as we were tired and were not bothered to go out for dinner. Breakfast was good each day, with eggs, bread, viennoiseries, jams, honey, juices etc. Our room was a good size. I appreciate the separate toilet and a good sized shower and bathroom which was brightly litted. The room was cleaned each day, towels replaced, towels for the pool were furnished and replaced each day, bedroom slippers and bathrobes were provided. Ample space in closet for clothes and personal belongings. What could be improved are the lightings in the room, it can be a but dark. The 2 lights above the TV did not work, we could have informed the manager but we didn't bother as we were out most of the time. We really appreciate the rooftop terrace. The 360° view was magnificent. We enjoyed a bottle of wine (ordered through the riad), they provided glasses and crisps to enjoy the view, each evening when the weather allowed. There is a hamman, jacuzzi (we didn't have the time to use). Massages can be ordered through Yassin, there is a massage room on the rooftop. The owners come in each morning to greet the guests, and to find out if they could help with any travel or excursion arrangements. They gave useful advice on places to visit and good restaurants. Highly recommended if you are like me, who do not want to be in the hustle hustle of the Medina yet with easy access to all shops and restaurants.

  My stay here was absolutely incredible. The Riad was beautiful, bright and sunny. The rooftop pool was exactly what I was after. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and are what made my time in Morocco so enjoyable. The hospitality of Driss and Youssef was amazing. I cannot thank them enough 🙏🏻😁They helped me with absolutely everything, and taught me a lot about the Moroccan culture. Be curious during your stay, and converse with the staff as they love to exchange their cultures 🙏🏻😁

  We had a lovely stay at Riad Almeria. It was amazing to stay at a Riad that offered peace, comfort and relaxation. The beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfast and great staff made it the perfect place for us to stay. We enjoyed the hammam treatment performed by sweet Hafida and went back to our room with the softest skin and a feeling of tranquility in our bodies. As if this wasn’t enough we had the pleasure of meeting Driss and Mehdi who went out of their way to offer us the most extraordinary service with their wonderful personalities. The entire staff was great but these two in particular made us feel as if no request was too big, made sure that all our needs were fulfilled and made us feel as if the riad was our home. They took their time to teach us about the Moroccan people and culture and the history of the country and treated us better than of any of the many staff members we’ve met on our many trips around the world. As two women traveling with big suitcases the only thing we missed was more closet space in the room that was smaller than expected. We would like to thank the entire staff and especially Driss and Mehdi for all their efforts to give us a pleasant experience at Riad Almeria.
